About Us
We
began as the "RefuGA," children of the Green Apprenticeship (GA)
Permaculture Design
Course of The Center for Creative Ecology on Kibbutz Lotan. We
continued our journey as a collective of inspired, motivated creators,
filled with the great infusion of confidence and light bestowed upon
us, in the creation of the "Yesh Meain" Farm in Moshav Nahalal. Founded
by Merav Carmi, 4th generation daughter of Nahalal, GA Winter 2006-07,
we serve this earth in the spirit of our mentors, from the love of our
hearts. For you who is reading, please come visit. For our brothers and
sisters of the GA who find yourselves in Israel with the force to
continue our study together, welcome to the RefuGA.
Our initial establishment focused on the Gan-Bait House and
Bustan Garden, for hosting people to help in the design and creation of
the Permaculture Center in Summer 2008. Since then, we are living
through a rainbow-colored adventure of life where love is increasing to
a level we only before imagined; where creating something out of
nothing with a wish or a thought is an everyday reality, hand-in-hand
with the hard and devoted work of so many friends. The heart is
expanding with no limit.
